with Franky Perez, Peter Thorn, Jon Button and Erik Eldenius.

By the time the show arrived, it really wasn’t much of a surprise that Billy Idol was going to sing a few tunes.

Shortly after 11:00, Steve and Franky Perez, Peter Thorn, Jon Button and Erik Eldenius tore into a set of familiar tunes to a hot and sweaty audience.

They even did 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson. Rocking!  Franky Perez sure can sing (everyone was blown away by his remarkable voice) and this band cranked out the tunes.

Billy Morrison came an rocked out.

Sebastian Bach showed up and they played Skid Row tunes, Led Zeppelin and more.   It was awesome.  Matt Sorum also joined in.

They were both in top form and the place was just rocking.   The crowd was treated to songs by Sabbath, Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix and much more.

A truly great evening of music and may be one of the best jams of the year…

Then Billy Idol hopped up onstage.  At this point, it was no surprise whatsoever, but the place was ecstatic.

This was awesome – perhaps one of the coolest things of the year.

What’s the first line?  “I’m all out of hope”…..   HA HA

And on it went….   “We’ve got nothing but reverb on his vocals”

Who cares?  It made the song longer…..

And it was cooler….
