“Look at Me Now”

The beast is unleashed as the roar of anger comes spewing out of Denmark from a relentless and grimy hard rock band named Junkyard Drive.  This brutal hard rock band brings out the animalistic side of human behavior with sleazy songs about love, lust, and heartache with the release of their gut-wrenchingalbum “Look at Me Now” which brings forth the territorial attitude of male versus female in a society which is based on survival of the fittest.  This collection of barbaric music features screeching vocals and growling hard rock melodies that sound like a hot, yet slumbering jungle has been awakened by an angry pride of lions fighting for supremacy.

The sweltering jungle has been rudely awakened by the screams of fear coming out of a frightened woman as if she had been struck by a bolt of lightning in the haunting track “Somewhere to Hide.” This track features screaming vocals and squealing hard rock melodies that sound like a man who has become angry about his cheating girlfriend. So, he drives after her in his car at a high rate of speed.  This track is an obnoxious rant about an angry man who confronts his cheating girlfriend.  However, the angry man’s cheating girlfriend shows no remorse for what she has done to her former boyfriend while the smoke is bursting out of his ears.  Meanwhile, the sweltering jungle remains alive as debauchery rages on in the steamy track “Tearaway.” This track features slithering vocals and growling Hard Rock melodies that sound like mating season is in full swing.  This track is a sleazy tale about a self-absorbed man who zeros in on a beautiful woman in a nightclub and gives her one unforgettable night and promises of forever.  Then, leaving her alone in a cheap hotel.

Finally, the sweltering jungle cools down nicely in the heart wrenching track ‘Saw You “Hanging There.” This track features soulful vocals and blistering Hard Rock melodies that sound likean earthquake that has left a path of destruction in its wake.  This track is a soul bearing tale about a proud man who sees a sad woman who needs a little romance.  So, the proud man is vowing to give the sad woman the life that she deserves.

Junkyard Drive is a rebellious hard rock band that emphasizes that men still rule the planet with their ruthless album “Look at Me Now.”
