​No guts, no glory is the best way to describe the rebellious attitude of a bombastic Melodic Rock band out of Stockholm, Sweden named Captain Black Beard.  This powerful band will take listeners on an epic journey the stormy seas of human emotion glass shattering vocals and explosive rock melodies throughout their volatile album “Chasing Danger” featuring ten tracks that will make the salty ocean air stings against one’s face as the high-octane adventure unfolds.

​The ship begins to sway heavily in the churning ocean waters in the ear-piercing track 

‘Dreams.” This track features howling vocals and thunderous melodies that sound like cannons going off while leaving plumes of hanging in the humid air.  This track is a raucous tale about an ambitious group of people who are determined to follow while accepting the challenges that are ahead of them.  Meanwhile, the ship continues to sway with water slapping against the sides of the ship with the human spirit reaching an all-time high in the passionate track “Chasing Rainbows.”  Thistrack features sultry vocals and sharp, yet biting rock melodies that sound like pieces of shrapnel is cutting into the ship’s bow as it is races through choppy waters in search of everlasting glory.  This track is a piledriving tale about a group of strong-willed warriors who are fearless in they way the choose to go after their desires in life regardless of what other people think.

​Finally, the ship that once had all of the power in the world is suddenly sinking into the churning ocean that is full of angst and despair in the heart wrenching track ‘Read Your Mind’, this track features sorrowful vocals and haunting rock melodies that sounds like a driving rain is stinging a heartbroken woman’s face. This track is an excruciating tale about a woman who is left to wondering what her boyfriend is really feeling because their once loving relationship abruptly turned ice cold.

​Captain Black Beard is a rebellious rock band who captures the essence of life as an endless melodrama that rises and falls just as the tides of the deep blue sea.  This mighty band will be no doubt be flexing its musical muscles for years to come.  This will be a revival of the vibrant and raw power that was prevalent during the reckless era of the 1980’s Aye, Aye rockers!
