To say a struggle between good an evil is ongoing is an understatement.  The struggle between good and evil is raging on within the world that is unsettling according to an American melodic rock trio named Revolution Saints, which is comprised of former members of Journey, Foreigner, and Whitesnake. This powerful trio truly packs a punch with their enlightening second album ‘Against the Winds’ which will be released on February 9, 2024 featuring eleven tracks that will bring forth the unpredictability of humanity and the weather in vivid detail.

The storm begins as a cold wind begins to knock a person down as they struggle to stand up and walk during a blizzard in the mind-numbing track ‘Against the Winds.”  This track features quivering vocals and heavy, biting melodic rock melodies that sound like ice is stinging a tired man’s face as he drudges through several feet of snow while relentless winds choke the breath out of the tired man.  This track is a treacherous tale about an anxiety ridden man who is determined to stand up to those individuals who kept telling him that he was a fool to pursue his dreams of becoming a musician and making himself as well as others happy.  This was a battle that the anxiety ridden man eventually overcame.  Meanwhile, the storm rages on letting the deep freeze slowly turn into a violent thunderstorm as the temperature rises feeling like a sauna in an angry man’s room in the agonizing track ‘Show Me Your Light.’  This track features raspy vocals and haunting melodic rock melodies that sound like an angry man who is literally being torn to shreds by the nightmares caused by his struggles with addiction that are keeping him awake at night.  Therefore, the angry man is screaming for help from a higher power in order to overcome his long struggle with addiction.  Now, the angry man desperately wants to live a healthy and happy life without his inner demons overwhelming him.

Finally, the storm as ceased ushering in bright sunlight gleaming through the dark clouds in the uplifting track ‘Divine Wings.’  This track featuring searing vocals and blistering melodic rock melodies that sound like an angry man suddenly broke out of his self-imposed immoral prison and is flying through the air on a giant white bird with large wings.  This track is a glorious tale about an angry man was able to overcome his demons that plagued him for the majority of his life. Now, the happy man is at peacewithin himself and wants to spread a message of hope to others who have struggled with the same issues.  Life can and will get better and it is a sign of strength to ask for help.  It is not a sign of weakness.

Revolution Saints is an amazing melodic rock trio who will awaken lost souls by pulling them through darkness throughout their passionate, yet explosive upcoming album ‘Against the Winds.’   This collection of music is unforgettable.
