Former OZZY OSBOURNE and DAVID LEE ROTH Guitarist Joe Holmes and Robbie Locke Seek Bass Player and Drummer for FARMIKOS

Los Angeles based FARMIKOS, the new band featuring former OZZY OSBOURNE and DAVID LEE ROTH guitarist JOE HOLMES and vocalist ROBBIE LOCKE, has thus far released nine digital singles showcasing the band’s sound and has announced the completion of the forthcoming debut CD in physical format.

The songs feature guest contributions by Holmes’ former Ozzy band mate, bassist ROBERT TRUJILLO (METALLICA/ INFECTIOUS GROOVES/ MASS MENTAL), drummer BROOKS WACKERMAN (BAD RELIGION) and KEN SCHALK (CANDIRA/ MASS MENTAL), as well as BENJIE WEBBIE (SKINDRED, MASS MENTAL).

Holmes and Locke seek to build a competent lineup with the best fitting players possible in preparation for live performances.

The group seeks motivated people who fit the dynamic and chemistry of the band’s recordings with the playing ability level of the album contributors. Prospective members must be available to travel to and stay in the Los Angeles area during necessary rehearsals in preparation for live performances and additional recording sessions. Vocal support would also be a major plus. Due to the anticipated volume of inquiries, each submission will be reviewed and those selected for further consideration will be contacted directly. Actual auditions of the identified, selected prospects will be held in Los Angeles at designated times and places via invitation only.

With 9 songs currently issued for digital purchase/download and the entire album complete, the collection of tracks will result in a full-length debut album and is currently being readied for a release in physical CD format.

Holmes states, “We’ve been thinking long and hard about the best way put our music out. Rather than going the conventional route and putting out an album, we are releasing the first four tunes digitally and we plan on making additional singles available at regular intervals. We want people to experience our music as we create it instead of holding it to release all at once. We’re excited because this approach allows our audience to grow with us.” The available singles are getting national radio airplay with great response by numerous media outlets and fans alike.”
