A call for peace in the world is coming from a veteran singer-songwriter and founding member of the rock named Jim Peterik.  This call for peace in the world is coming from a collaboration of musicians from various rock bands such as REO Speedwagon and Chicago among others who call themselves World Stage.  Therefore, Jim Peterik & World Stage will release there enlightening upcoming album “Roots & Shoots Vol. 2” on August9, 2024 featuring twelve soul stirring tracks that should heal a chaotic world by spreading seeds of love.

The call for peace begins with the warm sun beaming down on the midwestern plains in the hopeful track “American Dreamer.”  This track features soulful vocals and rustic rock melodies that sound like the golden wheat fields are gently rustling in the breeze on a bright and sunny day.  This track is an uplifting tale about how people should proud of their country and enjoy the freedom of having the ability to pursue their dreams.  Meanwhile, pursuing one’s dreams can often lead to frustration which can overwhelm a person in the heart wrenching track “Been to the Mountain.”  This track features and gritty vocals and cold rock melodies that sound like a chilling rain is cutting through a broken-hearted man’s tortured soul This track is a deeply reflective tale about a once troubled man who overcame adversity in his life when the people around him felt that he could not.  However, the troubled man cried out to a higher power without fear, So, with the help of God’s grace overcame his fears and climbed the seemingly unmovable mountain.  Now, the once troubled man is encouraging other troubled people to do the same thing because life can get better. However, one must never give up.

Finally, the call for peace comes to an exhilarating end in the refreshing track “Love Lives.”  This track features quivering vocals and crisp, soothing rock melodies that sound like a quiet man who was freed from his inner demons is enjoying a cool rush of water that is being poured over his head with a crowd of onlookers witnessing his leap of faith and being filled with hope and joy.  This track is a soul bearing tale about a peace-loving man who sees love growing in the world while in the midst of chaos.  However, in order for peace and hope to overcome the chaos that is plaguing Planet Earth.  Humanity must learn to coexist and learn to cope with one another’s different cultures and ideologies.  Otherwise, what was given to us in good faith thousands of years ago will be no more.

Jim Peterik & World Stage will ease wounded souls everywhere with their passionate album “Roots & Shoots Vol. 2.”  This collection of brilliantly crafted rock music is by far the best medicine that will undoubtedly cure a world that is wallowing in an abyss of endless misery.
