Meanwhile, the rush of romance continues to heat up with a beautiful woman cooking a hearty breakfast in the kitchen in the spicy track “Taste of Heaven.” This track features raspy vocals and simmering country rock melodies that sound like eggs and bacon are slowly frying in a pan on a sunny Saturday morning. This track is a sultry tale about a very happy man who is literally floating on “cloud nine” after his beautiful girlfriend cooked him a delicious breakfast with a huge smile on her face.

Finally, the rush of romance quickly turns into a feeling of overwhelming guilt engulfing a seemingly calm man in the scathing track “When the Moon Cries Wolf.” This track features snarling vocals and haunting country rock melodies that sound like a pack of angry wolves are salivating outside of a rundown bar full of lonely people on a hot, humid summer night. This track is an agonizing, yet seductive tale about a seemingly calm man who quickly becomes tempted by a leather-clad biker woman. The seemingly calm man is letting his “guard down” as he is lured into the leather-clad woman’s filthy web of lies. Therefore, the seemingly calm man was robbed of his dignity by letting his inhibitions run wild with a dirty woman with a “one track” mind which left the seemingly calm man heartbroken and alone in a dingy hotel room.

The Speaker Wars are an amazing country rock band that has a promising future on today’s music scene with their soul stirring self-titled debut album. This rebellious tells obnoxious tales of romance and recklessness.
