jbjbssAn Australian born, London based photographer, Jack has been taking pictures from the young age of 6.

It started as a childhood past time but soon emerged into a life long dedication. In his formative years Jack
studied at TAFE SA (Vocational Education & Training in Adelaide, South Australia) completing an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography, learning the craft and fundamentals of anaolgue photography.   Throwing caution to the wind, at the age of 21, he departed his home town with a 1 way ticket to London this new beginning was a challenge to his innocence of youth, and excited by his new surroundings began to document these new environments. . The next years for Jack involved fashion photography, a mixture of assisting in the industry as well as shooting.  Working for many top London-based and international photographers previously, Jack now works for one of the world’s leading photographers Rankin, where he has been for 3 year and works with Novembre, Interview, Wonderland, Hunger and many more, who publish online editorials and backstage features.  “Upon reflection of the photographs in this collection, a lot of images seem un-meditated responses to the situations he found himself living out. In a process of instant creativity the images appear captured on little more than an instinct. Somehow this instinct is recognisable and it runs as a theme throughout the exhibition.”
