ULTIMATE JAM NIGHT HONORS AC/DC’s MALCOLM YOUNG IN HIS FIGHT WITH DEMENTIA ON NOVEMBER 15
Ultimate Jam Night, the weekly free music show held at the Whisky A Go Go, will turn its upcoming Tuesday night edition on November 15th honoring AC/DC rock icon Malcolm Young to be broadcast worldwide via Zinna.TV.
Young struggled with the onset of dementia for a period of time prior to being admitted to full-time nursing care in Sydney, Australia beginning in 2014.
A collection of well known rockers will participate in a jam of AC/DC songs that will feature former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright.
“Malcolm Young created not only music, but an era” said Ultimate Jam Night founder and Quiet Riot Bassist, Chuck Wright. “According to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5.4 million Americans have Alzheimer’s and other related dementias, so this terrible affliction affects many more like Malcolm,” said Wright.

Ultimate Jam Night is a free weekly show currently in residence at L.A.’s Whisky A Go Go. Tonight’s opening act formed in 2009 when a record company was seeking a band that was classic metal with a bit of Bon Scott thrown in for good measure.
The band has made a name for itself locally and has had its music constantly heard in Television shows like “Happy Endings” , “Raising Hope”, and “Reno 911” and feature films . It’s music even appeared in Guitar Hero 2.

OPENER 2: No Small Children. Tonight’s second opener was an all-girl band born on the playground in the spring of 2012.
Elementary school-teachers by day, its three members decided to start a band while covering recess duty.
Lunch breaks became band meetings, after-school became rehearsals, and holidays were reserved for touring.
The band has played the South by Southwest Festival, recorded a new single with one of rock’s top producers, and had its remake of the Ghostbuster’s theme heard in the Ghostbuster’s film last summer.
