SchwarZenator, the self-proclaimed “Greatest Arnold Schwarzenegger tribute band” (a half comedy show/half hard rock tribute Inspired by the Legacy of One of Earth’s Finest Physical Specimens, Arnold Schwarzenegger) are releasing 6 live songs in a collaboration between YouTube, saxophonist Brian Landau (BriansThing) and Doug Bresler (DoogToons) of “Weird Al” Yankovic fame.

Schwarzenator released a full length album in 2010, and, more recently, the holiday single, “Jingle All the Way.”

Along with impressive musical performances, fans of the former “Governator” and heavy rock/metal music will find a lot of brilliant humor interspersed with this clever and very original concept.   All joking and fun aside, this band puts out some serious music at a level that very few bands are capable of achieving and their live performances are an experience to behold.

Despite losing former KORN guitarist and founding stOrk and SchwarZenatoR member Shane Gibson earlier in 2014, the band decided to carry on and is forging ahead with new songs as well as the creation of “The Greatest Evening of Entertainment Ever” – an EXTREME evening of music.

Here’s a quick recap of Heavy Metal Hill’s impression of SchwarZenator from one of their shows last year:

…..their style of music is unique, extraordinary, intensely amusing and technically brilliant.    The guys jokingly walked around the stage using their fake Austrian accents and “Arnoldisms” with pictures of Arnold and lyrics displayed on the video monitors… while playing music that was in no way a joke.

Everything about this band was magnificent – from the killer bass playing, to the monster drumming, guitar shredding and great singing, they put on a truly incredible performance.

The newly released videos are just a sample of what attendees would experience at one of their shows.

The song kicks in at the 1:00 mark:
